DC Fab is reporting that BET will unveil a new web series set in the DMV surrounding students attending high schools n DC and Silver Spring.
“The Come Up” is a dramedy (drama and comedy) that follows seven teenagers who attend Silver Spring High School and Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
The series highlights the young whipper-snappers as they “pursue their dreams to make it as future music executives, doctors, lawyers, and superstar athletes. But first they have to make it through high school.”
