Today many friends and admirers came to the National Council of Negro Women national headquarters to pay their respects to Dr. Dorothy Height, whose body laid in state for a public viewing. Dr. Height, who passed last week at the age of 98, was a civil rights pioneer and presidential advisor who touched the lives of many during her time on earth. The viewing lasts today until 10 pm and she will be funeralized on Thursday at the National Cathedral.
