(Washington, DC) — DC Police want more red light cameras in the nation’s capital. Police released dramatic video to make their point. It shows a truck blowing a red light and t-boning a car, which slams into another car. Assistant Police Chief Patrick Burke told WJLA-TV the cameras are about safety, but many motorists say they’re about money. Triple-A Mid-Atlantic says the video’s release is just a ploy.
