(Washington, DC)  —  President Obama’s faith advisory council has some new appointees.  The Christian Post says the leader of the National Association of Evangelicals and the Episcopal Church USA are included in the new appointees.  NAE president Leith Anderson and Episcopal Presiding Bishop the Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori are joined by Lynne Hybels, co-founder of Willow Creek Community Church, Susan Stern, special adviser on Government Affairs to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Archbishop Demetrios Trakatellis of the Greek Orthodox Church of America, and the Reverend Elder Nancy L. Wilson of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches.  President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based neighborhood Partnerships finished its one-year term almost one year go.
