Plans to make Fairfax County a more walkable place could also make it a tough place to park your car. Planners are looking at a proposal to limit parking in new developments near Metro lines. The idea is to get people out of their cars and into mass transit. But some developers are concerned people may not want to buy a new house if it doesn’t come with enough parking spaces. The Board of Supervisors would have to approve the plan for it to become law.
