Gospel singing sensation Vickie Winans is set to release her next project that is sure to delight traditional and contemporary gospel enthusiasts. How I Got Over will be in stores August 4th.
The 11-song project will be released on Winan’s own label, Destiny Joy. Gospel artist Tye Tribbett is featured on the track “Heyyy,” and her nephew, Tim Bowman, Jr. lends his talents on the title track, which is also the project’s first single.
Calling “How I Got Over” her personal testimony, Winans tells anyone who will listen that …
“God has been good to me,” and “I will give Him all the praise. He’s stayed with me and held me up when I couldn’t hold up myself. There are so many great things happening that I just have to say that it’s because of God that I made it over.”
