While vacationing in Italy, Pope Benedict XVI injured himself after a fall in the bathroom.

Pope Benedict XVI broke his right wrist after slipping in the bath this morning, landing him in the hospital. Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi says it’s nothing serious, and the Pontiff just went to get everything checked out. The 82-year-old Pope is vacationing in northern Italy. Witnesses say he was able to walk into the hospital in the city of Aosta. Before he headed off to see the doctors, however, the Pope celebrated Mass and had breakfast, the Vatican said. His wrist is now in a cast.
