There is a school in Richmond, California in the East Bay section, where the parents and staff are debating to change the name of one of their elementary schools.
The name of the school right now is “Wilson Elementary School,” to honor the nation’s 28th President Woodrow Wilson.
The school is being rebuilt, with no hallways, and classrooms will have large windows and the doors with connect the rooms together.
With the school being rebuilt, parents & staff thought that since the school will be brand new, they thought that now is a good time to make everything new; even the name!!!
