THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS did a few things last night that have never been done and something that hasn’t been done in D.C. in over 80 years!!
That is – #1 bring a BASEBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP to The Nation’s Capital; and #2 win ever World Series Game on the road!!! Something that has never been done, not in just modern history, but in lifetime history!!!
The National’s won every game of the 2019 World Series on an opponents field; this time in Houston, Texas!!!
They ended the season with a 6-2 win over the Houston Astro’s and pitcher Stephen Strasburg brought home the World Series MVP Trophy. Max Scherzer tearfully hugged his teammates. Gerardo Parra did the Baby Shark chop, Sean Doolittle flapped snow angels next to the mound.
