A 3-year-old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot inside of a home Friday night.

According to Baltimore police, just before 10 p.m., a sergeant was flagged by a driver on Patapsco Avenue. The officer saw a child suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was able to rush him to the hospital.

After obtaining a search warrant for the family’s home on Clintwood Court in South Baltimore, police say evidence showed signs of a shooting.

No weapon has been found and the parents are not cooperating.
