KEY VERSE: Matthew 5:23-24(NKJV)

Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

Love transforms how we relate to one another. In what form does this transformation come? Jesus taught us how to reflect His light through controlling our anger, being reconciled with others, immediately dealing with sin, and being faithful.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

Love is the transformative factor that informs and impacts the way that we relate to each other in everyday life. We reflect the light of Jesus as we manage our anger, unify from conflicts, become reconciled with others, and eradicate patterns of sin. Outward conformity to spiritual and moral rules is made possible through inward purity that Jesus commands. God calls us to righteous living through controlling our behavior through disciplining our minds, our tongues, our time, and our money.

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you for giving us the power to fulfill the purpose for which we have been created. Help us to see your face and to live in harmony with those who walk beside us along the pathway of life.  In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
