NBC’s The Voice and Grammy Award winning singer Adam Levine is leaving the hit show after 16 seasons. Levine was one of the original coaches when it premiered in April 2011, along with Blake Shelton.

Although there have been many personnel changes over the years, Levine has been a consistent presence and mentor to countless singers on his team.

The most current lineup includes John Legend and Kelly Clarkson, both slated to return for season 17. No word on whether Shelton will be returning as well, but we are hopeful.

I guess we will have to wait and see.
