Professor Robyn Phillips-Pendleton of the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware visited Radio-One with a full interview on

“The Winston Chaney Morning Show.”

Professor Phillips-Pendleton who studied Communications & Art Design at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, with further studies at Syracuse University now teaches students the art of Custom Designing in Magazine Print as well as CD Covers, Book Cover Design and many other forms of Print media.

PROFESSOR PHILLIPS-PENDLETON:  “I never wanted to teach.  I just knew that there had to be a way to do what I like (drawing) and make money doing it.  Teaching it just fell into my lap, and I’ve been doing it on the University Level for over 14 years.”

During her interview, she told how she got started drawing at a young age and how she got better as she got older, and how today her art is taking her around the world as a speaker and how she got paintings and drawings in the Delaware Museum of Art.

Professor Phillips-Pendleton is many things, Wife, Mother, Professor, Artist, Painter and in the past “a model.”  In her younger age, she did a stint in modeling for “Walmart.”  She claims that that just fell into her lap too; at a time when she wasn’t looking for it, it was just offered and she ran with it.
