I’m excited to announce that my godmother, Gospel legend and Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, DC’s own, Shirley Ables (of Shirley Ables and the Joy Gospel Singers) will be celebrating her 80th Birthday with a concert featuring her current music students as well as former music students who are now recording artist and professional musicians, like myself.
