It seems like the D.C. City Council just sits around and tries to think of things that will hurt the general public and after-all adds money to the D.C. Budget.
D.C. is making Right on Red pretty much illegal within two years. By the end of this year 2018, five intersections will have “NO TURN ON RED.”
The city says that it’s for roadway safety and to slow down traffic.
The five street corners will be banned by the first of the year and that will happen in the next 6 days. 7th and T streets NW, 9th and M streets NW, 11th and I streets SE, 11th Street and Columbia Road NW, and 13th and I streets NW.
