 UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

In the midst of life’s challenges and uncertainties, people search for a foundation on which to make decisions. What is that foundation? In the book of Deuteronomy, God informed the Israelites that the basis for meeting all of life’s circumstances is to love God absolutely, and Matthew recorded that Jesus repeated those instructions.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

As believers in God, we are called to demonstrate our love and commitment to God by a continual investment of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength. As parents and teachers, we are called to communicate and replicate our faith in the lives of our children and students through visual, verbal, and valuable investments of time and effort to planting spiritual seeds of truth into impressionable hearts.

 PRAYER

Hear, O Israel and all nations: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Help us to love you with all our hearts, all our souls, all our minds, and all our strength. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
