A Prince George’s County Police office is in some very hot water, and hot water to say the least!!!!
His name is Officer Ryan Macklin; who is a six year veteran of the Police Force.
Macklin was arrested yesterday and charged with sex crimes after a traffic stop in Langley Park, Maryland.
POLICE CHIEF HANK STAWINSKI: “He’s charged with first-degree rape, second-degree rape, perverted practice, second-degree assault and a fourth-degree sex offense.” Stawinski also said there may be more victims.
CHIEF STAWINSKI: “The investigation has led me to believe, based on the victim’s statement, witness statements, the totality of the circumstances, that he saw this individual and chose to target her simply because she was a woman driving at a late hour in Prince George’s County. There is nothing that leads us to conclude there was anything further,”
During the investigation it was determined that Macklin pulled over the victim around 1 a.m. on Thursday on University Boulevard in Langley Park. It was also determined that Officer Macklin was sitting in the victim’s car at the time of the assault and was in uniform.
Macklin has been suspended without pay, and has been relieved of his weapons, police vehicle and credentials.
It is my prediction that more victims will come forth now that one has spoken up!!!
