UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

We want to be loving persons. What makes for genuine love in the world? Paul offered the marks of true love that are to be lived by the faithful.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

Christian brothers and sisters have the responsibility to love one another and to be genuine and true in their dealings with one another. Even though we come from different backgrounds, Paul called for unity and peace in the body of Christ in Rome. In a time of so much division and strife in our contemporary setting, Paul’s message of love, unity, and peaceful living among those within and outside the church should resonate with all people of faith.

PRAYER:

Dear LORD, we pray for that love that runs from heart to heart and breast to breast. Help us to so live among one another that all will be able to experience that peace in Christ and in community that passes all understanding. In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
