Less than a month ago, LiAngelo Ball and two of his UCLA teammates were caught stealing from 3 stores in China and caused an International Event. The incident was settled by U.S. President Donald Trump and that caused another International Event between Trump and LaVar Ball, the father of the accused Son.
When the three boys were allowed to return to the United States, they were immediately suspended by UCLA indefinitely.
Now Dad LaVar Ball has confirmed that he is pulling his son LiAngelo out of UCLA and off the Basketball team. Ball said the punishment is not fair to suspend the three players for shoplifting since the charges were dropped.
Here’s what LaVar Ball told ESPN on pulling LiAngelo from UCLA: “There is no need to break down a kid’s spirit for making a mistake. I’m going to make him way better for the draft that UCLA ever could have.”
Dad Ball said — “We are exploring other options with (LiAngelo),” “He’s out of there.”
He said his son will start training for the NBA draft.
