In an environment that is filed with racial hatred, bigotry and partisan politics; the State of Virginia is will decided today who will lead it’s people.

It’s Decision Day 2017 in Virginia, and the citizens will vote for the Top Job in the State; The Governor!!

They will also vote for Delegates and a lot of local positions.

Democrat Ralph Northam and Republican Ed Gillespie are vying for the top job, after a nasty campaign for the past year.  Each candidate will be making stops at various polling locations to help decide who will be the next Governor of Virginia.

Today  is also Election Day in Maryland, where voters in some cities, including Annapolis, will decide contests for mayor and city council.

Polls are open until 7 p.m. in Virginia and 8 p.m. in Maryland.
