Earlier this week President Trump declined an invitation to address the annual convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

According to Reuter’s, the White House wouldn’t elaborate on why Trump won’t speak at the 108-year-old civil rights group’s conference, however White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said that the administration would like to talk to the group in the future.

“We would certainly like to be able to continue to do that,” Sanders said
