Actor, Rapper and Producer Ice Cube recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. An original member of the rap group N.W.A., he has gone on to have a successful solo music career, as well as movie career, with such box office successes as Boyz in the Hood, Poetic Justice, Friday, Barbershop and Ride Along, just to name a few.

Director of Boyz in the Hood, John Singleton, was one of  people who spoke at Ice Cube’s star ceremony and said “the mark of a true man is how many people he influences in his lifetime.”

Dr. Dre was also in attendance to watch his longtime friend and former N.W.A partner be honored. Ice Cube recently celebrated a birthday as well.

Congrats!
