In a proclamation released Wednesday, May 31st, President Donald Trump continues the tradition by declaring June African American Music Appreciation Month.  In his proclamation he acknowledges music greats, Chuck Berry, Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie.  Chuck Berry passed was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and acknowledged by Kieth Richards as the man who started it all.  Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie would have turned 100 this year.
