We often focus on how much God loves us. And that is so true. It’s a fact and it’s the best thing ever. He loves us beyond love. He loves us when we’re good, bad, wrong or right. God never stops loving us.
But here’s the thing. That same agape love he gives us, that is the same love he wants us to show to someone else. So how about we start showing that same love to someone else just as he has commanded. His love for us should DRIVE us to love others. HE SAYS HOW CAN WE SAY WE LOVE HIM WHOM WE’VE NEVER SEEN BUT YET DON’T LOVE OUR BROTHER OUR SISTER WHO WE SEE EVERYDAY?
There is a song that says what the world needs now is love sweet love. God has given us this commandment to love one another. How much better would the world be if (ofcourse we humble our selves and pray and turn from wickedness allow God to heal our land) love unconditionally? No matter the race, color or creed. No matter someones eduction, vocation or location. No matter rich or poor. NO MATTER WHETHER YOU’RE RELATED BY BLOOD. WE CAN ALL BE RELATED BY LOVE. Everyone Loving one another as God loves us? The thought of it just brings tears to my eyes. I can only hope. I can only follow his commandments. I can only love. So I’m gonna do my part. How about you?
John 13:34-35 (KJV) – A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
