Former New England Patriots starting tight end Aaron Hernandez who was serving a life sentence with no chance of parole for first degree murder has committed suicide.

Aaron Hernandez was tried again last week for a double murder in 2012 but acquitted of all charges.
But on yesterday, prison officials found Hernandez hanging in his cell, and it was ruled a suicide.
