Atlanta Losing Traffic Gridlock Battle, Study Reports

Up until now, if you are caught driving too slow and slowing down traffic in the left lane in Virginia, you could get a “Left Lane” ticket and pay a $250 ticket.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe has proposed to lower the fine from $250.00 down to $100.00 and The Virginia Senate has approved.

The House of Delegates had already approved the change back in February.

The bill does not change the rules directing drivers to stay to the right except when passing, but it does set a fine for the first time when the bill takes effect this summer.
