A 28 year old Brazilian man by the name of Cleber Rene Rizerio has been caught with $20 million dollars cash in the Mattress Box Spring in a Westborough, Massachusetts apartment. $20 Million!!!!
Prosecutors say that Rocha was part of a scheme to transfer millions of dollars to Brazil by laundering it through Hong Kong.
The money was from TelexFree, an internet phone company that was “allegedly” a pyramid scheme.
In this particular scheme, authorities say that over a million people were swindled out of nearly $1.8 billion dollars.
Cleber Rene Rizerio is being held without bond because authorities fear him to be a flight risk.
