A Kansas man has done the unthinkable!!! His name is Lawrence Ripple, he is 70 and he told his wife that he’d rather be in jail than to go on living with her.
So to keep his word, Lawrence Ripple went to a local bank and gave the teller a note saying that he had a gun and to give him the money. The teller did just what he said – but instead of fleeing the bank, Ripple sat down and waited for Police!!! No one was hurt or ever in danger.
Now he may get his wish; he faces up to 20 years in Federal Prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
