As the season winds down, so do the chances for the Hometeam Football Team to make the playoff’s.  Their chances of being a “Wild Card” just got a little slimmer with a big loss in Glendale, Arizona to the Arizona Cardinals.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins had been nothing but great in the past few weeks with nine touchdown passes and no interceptions and had completed almost 70% of his passes in the Month of November.

But on yesterday, he three an interception with .41 seconds left that would have forced the game into overtime.  He also fumbled in the third quarter, something else he has been perfect with.

The fumble, only Cousins’ second lost fumble of the season, was the result of a breakdown in protection and Arizona defensive end Calais Campbell forcing the turnover while making a sack.

So with all that, the hometeam lost to Arizona  31-23 in a pivotal game that would have kept them in the hunt for a Wild Card Spot.

Next week, they go to Philadelphia to play a conference game and a must win for both teams.
