The Donald Trump Presidential Election protests for the most part in this area have been relatively peaceful protest until Wednesday when a Trump supporter wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap was beaten by protesters.

A 17 year-old is facing second degree assault charges for an incident outside the Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville.

Superientendent Smith said recent protests “have unfortunately generated valid concerns regarding the security of our students outside of our schools.”

He also said that those not abiding by this directive could face consequences.
