While many Giant Retailers like Macy’s, Target, Kohl’s and many others have made it a point to open not only on Thanksgiving, but to open early on Thanksgiving, Electronics Giant “hhgreg” has announced that they are not following the trend and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
The Indianapolis-based chain with 220 stores in 19 states says it’s important for its workers to be home with their families on Thanksgiving.
HHGreg Management said that Black Friday sales have spreaded out to a week long event and not just on that Friday, so on Thanksgiving Day they will be closed and hope that other Chains will follow their lead and not the lead of Macy’s, Target & Kohl’s practice of opening earlier on Thanksgiving.
