UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

People often give credit for accomplishments to those who carry out the work rather than to the one who created the plan. Who is really responsible? The Scripture affirms that Jesus is the one who was faithful while accomplishing God’s plan.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

Jesus is the example of what faith and faithfulness should be. It is through our confessions of faith and our willingness to order our lives according to His Word, we develop an abiding relationship with Him that is lasting and vibrant. Jesus Christ is the final authority for the believer’s life. We owe Him our loyalty and it is our responsibility as believers to present and preach the truth of the teachings of Jesus. Yes, we are called to talk about what Jesus did, but more importantly, it is to remind people of what He said.

PRAYER:

Lord, grant that we will never forget the richness of Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths. May we never be lulled into complacency by our unwillingness to accept the truth You completely reveal. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
