Hurricane Matthew Churns in Caribbean

One of the major storms of the hurricane season is down in the Carribbeans right how and heading north; but overnight a lot has changed.  It’s called “Hurricane Matthew” and meteological machines and meteorologist are predicting that Matthew will probably not affect the DMV over the weekend and they are saying that if you have plans in the Washington, D.C. area this weekend, don’t cancel them.

Hurricane Matthew is expected to pour lots of rain along the Southeastern border of the United States and expected to arrive by Friday morning.  States such as Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, and maybe North Carolina are expected to be the recipients of that rain.

Matthew went into the night as a Category 2 but lost some of its strength overnight and that’s why the Meterological expects are predicting that the DMV will not be much of a factor over this weekend.
