The cousin of Newly Acquired Chicago Bull — Dwayne Wade was murdered this past Friday in a sad case of Drive By Shooting and another sad case of senseless gun violence. Nykea Aldridge was 32 years old and the mother of four. At the time she was pushing her baby in a stroller near the school where she had intended on registering her children for the upcoming school year. Aldridge was shot in the head and the arm in the Drive-by shooting as she was not the intended target.

Two brothers — Darwin Sorrells Jr., 26, and Derren Sorrells, 22, both on parole were charged with first-degree murder of Ms. Aldridge, and since she was not the intended target, there were also charged with attempted murder of the one’s they did not hit. Both brothers appeared in court Sunday and were ordered held without bail.
Wade, who plays in the NBA and has played his whole career in Miami just signed with the Chicago Bulls and decided to move back home to fullfill a lifelong dream – to play for his hometown Chicago Bulls.
