Nuclear Security Summit 2016 Has D.C. Streets on Lockdown!!!

D.C.-area commuters should expect “significant traffic disruptions” between March 31 and April 2 for the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit.

The summit is being held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, which is about a mile from the White House.

• The Yellow and Green Line trains will not stop at the Washington Convention Center/Mt. Vernon Square station. No other Metro stops will be affected.

Loudoun County Commuter Bus

• The 805, 605, 508D and the 819 runs will not pick up at H & 8th street. They will start at H & 4th at the scheduled time.
• Other delays may happen due to the summit on other routes.
