Many church leaders catch a lot of flack for their somewhat extravagant lifestyles, but Bishop Clarence McClendon recently defended his need for what seems like an entourage.
“I don’t have an entourage. I have trained ministers that travel with me,” he said during a press event
According to Clarence, it’s not just ministers with whom he surrounds himself. He also has bodyguards who he finds necessary, considering the death threats he’s received.
