The holiday season is the best time for First Family watching. The Obama’s schedule is packed with plenty of activities that allow them to get dressed up, giving the rest of us a chance to “ooh” and “aah” in delight. One such event was Sunday night’s taping of the annual “Christmas in Washington” concert.
And with performances by “X Factor” judge Demi Lovato, Korean popstar Psy and the legendary Diana Ross (ankle injury and all), it was definitely the night to breakout their finest threads.
While The President kept it simple (per usual) in a dark suit and red tie, Michelle turned heads in slinky beige cap-sleeved dress, bejeweled belt and a pair of her signature kitten heels–it’s almost impossible for this lady not to look good.
While the FLOTUS reigns supreme in the fashion department, we’ve also got our eyes set on Sasha and Malia–who are definitely rising style stars.
For last night’s taping the First Daughters dazzled in a pair of sparkling dresses. Malia teamed a silver dress with a grey cardigan that was festively embellished with metallic sequins. Frosty white rhinestones around the 14-year-old’s waist added an extra touch of glamour.
Sasha donned an icy blue, asymmetrical frock with flecks of sliver throughout. The 11-year-old finished the look off with a thin braided gold belt, cream cardigan, post earrings and an elegant top bun. Perfection from head to toe.
It’s clear both girls are taking major fashion cues (see: cardigans and stylish belts) from their fashion-forward mom. We can’t wait for another four years of tracking their every ensemble.
