The Washington Washington Football Team have decided to not only bench six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb, but they’ve also decided to make him third string.

According to some players, Kyle Shanahan, Washington Football Team offensive coordinator Kyle is using McNabb as  a scapegoat for why the team hasn’t been performing in recent weeks. McNabb has struggled through his worst season since he was a rookie in 1999.

He’s thrown a career-high 15 interceptions and ranks 25th in the NFL with a 77.1 rating for the Washington Football Team (5-8), who have been eliminated from the playoff race.

Grossman, who played for Kyle Shanahan last year in Houston, will now be the Washington Football Team starting quarterback.

“Disrespectful is probably not strong enough of a word,” Fletcher N. Smith, McNabb’s representative, told The Washington Post on Friday. “Donovan has handled himself with nothing but class, not just in Washington but as an ambassador for the league. To treat him this way … it’s beyond disrespectful.”
