Praise and Worship in the Mid- Day with Angel Carpenter. This fun loving and free-spirited “Angel Of The Airwaves” was reared in Baltimore, Maryland. Dispite a struggling childhood and inspired by the support of her mother and dreams of following in the footsteps of broadcast icon Catherine Hughes, Angel set out of the Nation’s Capital. Living up to her motto: Education is the key to unlock the world, Angel attended Howard University where she became a member of Alpha Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and graduated with honors in 2005 with a B.A. degree in Radio, TV, and film. Angel devides her time between her midday position with WYCB and satellite radio in the evenings. Angel spends her free time enlarging her masssive music collection, writing, reading. Angels aspires to begin a mentoring program for inner-city youth.
