The phrase “I WAS” is no substitute for “I DID.”
Too often people don’t do what needs to be done–or what they are suppose to do.
Don’t get into the “I was” habit.
Make “I do, I did , I will” a part of your working vocabulary.
Usually starting your sentence with “I was” means there is a lame excuse on the way.
