Action worship center is an affiliate of Action Churches worldwide, under its parent church, Christian Action Faith Ministries International. C.A.F.M. started in 1979 in Accra, Ghana. Having pioneered the charismatic movement in that part of Africa, currently C.A.F.M. has over 250 affiliate churches worldwide with Action Worship Center, Maryland, serving as the headquarters church for North America. Action Worship Center, Maryland, was established with a few people in 1995 in Columbia and has grown into a dynamic, international ministry, touching the nations through prayer, teaching, preaching, discipleship, home care groups, deliverance meetings, focus on the family, and conferences, under the leadership of His Grace Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and the Resident Senior Pastor, Bishop Senyo Bulla.

New Horizon Christian Faith Church
The New Horizon Christian Faith Church (NHCFC) located in Mount Rainier, Maryland was officially established July 24, 2005 under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Charlene Monk, D.D. Dr. Monk is a visionary and trailblazer who understand the concepts of risk management. She is a woman who possesses impeccable integrity, scholarship and leadership. And has a driving commitment to perform the work of the Lord in this same manner.
The NHCFC was birthed out of its community outreach center and was formally opened on June 13, 2004. The preparations leading up to this grand opening was a significant challenge. Renovation costs were astronomical along with the labor, overhead, supplies, equipment and miscellaneous disbursements to bring this endeavor to fruition.
