The 2010 8th annual WYCB Prayer breakfast was the largest to date. Some eleven hundred attendees honored seventeen area pastors from the greater Washington metropolitan area for their outstanding contributions to the community. Bishop Elect Lyle Dukes of Harvest Life Changers Church in Woodbridge, Virginia was the keynote speaker. Bishop Elect Dukes said when you learn how to celebrate someone else, you will soon recognize that your blessing is on the way. Stellar award winner and Grammy nominated vocalist Vicki Winans performed her hit song “How I Got Over” and her next single “Release It”. Gospel Rescue Ministries President and CEO Michael Costese was honored for 100 years of service in the DC area. Bell SR. of the Allen Chapel AME Church, Pastor Sherwood A. Walker of Craig Memorial Community Church, Pastor Samuel E. Hayward III of the Hemingway Memorial AME Church, Pastor Charles Cato SR. of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Lanham, Pastor Conrad Pridgen of Ward Memorial AME, Pastor James E.
