Posing in a serious-looking shot with the simple message #BringBackOurGirls posted to her Instagram page, the “No Looking Back” singer joins the movement millions around the world are supporting.

Horrified citizens around the world have been following the news surrounding the abduction of more than 200 female teens in northern Nigeria April 14 by Islamic militants Boko Haram.

Monday, EEW Magazine reported President Obama vowed that the U.S. will do everything to help Nigeria find them and bring them back to safety.

Saturday, First Lady Michelle Obama took over the president’s weekly radio and Internet address, saying the she and her husband are “outraged and heartbroken” over the  “unconscionable act” of kidnapping.

“In these girls, Barack and I see our own daughters,’ Mrs. Obama said, referring to Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12. “We see their hopes, their dreams and we can only imagine the anguish their parents are feeling right now.”

On Mother’s Day, while delivering her Sunday sermon at The Potter’s House in Dallas, First Lady Serita Jakes marched across the platform repeatedly yelling, “Bring Back Our Girls!”
