The Houston Rockets have landed the NBA’s Big Fish, buy they talked a little too early.    Even though Free Agency opened July 1, contract deals can’t become official until Wednesday, after the 2013-14 salary cap is set.  The Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey gave an interview with Comcast SportsNet Houston in which he talked about the recruitment and how that landed Dwight Howard.   Houston Coach Kevin McHale also discussed Howard over the weekend at the Orlando Summer League.

The time period when teams are not allowed to talk to free agents is called a Moratorium Period, and because Houston Rockets recruited and talked to an unrestricted free agent (Dwight Howard), they have been fined $150,000.
