On Saturday, June 22, 2013 — Six Flags America in Largo, Maryland was on fire with Praise and Worship as Praise 104.1 and WYCB 1340 AM – two Radio-One Gospel Properties sponsored the annual Praise In The Park. With such greats that have performed at Praise in the Park in the past as CC Winans, Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee and New Life, this year took no back seat when it came to talent and enthusiasm. Gracing the stage was D.C.’s own “Gerald Scott and Company,” “Luther Barnes and the Red Budd Gospel Choir,” and “VaShawn Mithell!” The entire park was buzzing as people came off their rides to enjoy the Gospel in Song. VaShawn Mitchell sang a variety of hits, including his #1 hits from the past and today’s #1 “Turning Around For Me.”
